As if this post needs confirmation, but this sign caused me to screech on my brakes and turn around to take this picture.
Imagine, if you can, that the pastor who decided on this proverb altered it slightly to say “wealth” instead of poverty. She/he would be run out of town before morning.
And, to make this even worse, this church is in the heart of Hurricane Michael’s ravaging damage in Florida’s Panhandle. Those who are poor are still suffering from the damage and its aftermath. I’ll just say this — being poor is considerably more work than being rich.
