Girl Scouts rock! And my years of scouting etched values in me that I still lean on!

For the past 14 years I’ve lived full-time in a little camper, traversing backroads of the US chronicling life of families and youth experiencing homelessness. After 15 years running homeless shelters and changing laws that make homelessness even harder, this (www.hearus.us) is a perfect chapter to my life, one that I attribute to my Girl Scout training.

My unconventional, active friends share the same wonderful experience of Girl Scouts. Thanks for calling attention to this organization and leader.
