I have a dual dilemma. Using Amazon is immensely convenient for me because I don’t have a fixed address and they quickly ship the oddball things I can’t find as I travel in my van-home. I try buying whatever I can from local merchants, but that’s not always possible. Part 2 is AmazonSmiles for my nonprofit (www.hearus.us). I feel it sends a mixed message about our social values. Especially after reading Nomadland (which I ironically ordered from Amazon). We don’t get that much from them. I’m thinking of scrapping that.
