I’ve interviewed plenty of women who’ve made the break, some back and forth, and it’s difficult, even when the abuser is horrific. Hard to figure, but it’s certainly common.

Hope you have a good friend who can talk you down/up when you need it. Don’t wimp out when it comes to financial agreements. The women I’ve known in this situation ended up homeless. Not a good option.
